Even our cargo operation was a failure, we try another attempt to weaken the Luytenian forces. We have to destroy a complete bomber squadron before they get into duty against us and also we want to capture the whole station, too.
Hints:
If you are able to destroy the Liepzig, you will perform a bonus objective. Even the station will reappear in a later mission again.
This mission has a time limit. You have nearly 9 Minutes to complete the Primary objective on Medium, otherwise this mission is a failure.
You get 35 additional seconds to perform the destruction of the bombers if you play this mission at easy or very easy.
On the other hand, you have 35 less seconds for the objective if you play this mission on Hard or Insane.
I suggest not to use the GTB Zeus here, because you can not use bombs anyway. The Hercules Mark II is the better choice. It has more armor, is a little faster and can carry much more missiles.
You can choose the attack vector for this mission, i suggest to use the last and to attack the incoming Herc II immediately.
After you destroyed the fighter, order your wingmen to attack the Cruiser.
After this ship is down, use a double Trebuchet to bring down one of Leo wing which has targeted you.
After your enemy is down, try to destroy the Liepzig Hangars with Trebuchets, but fire them manually, because they will not hit the Hangar directly if you trust the target computer. So use your primaries to get into the correct attack vector and then fire a salvo with Trebs. Two hits should be enough for every hangar. It is important that you destroy all three hangars before the second wave of wing launches from the station, if you are to slow in this phase, you will have to handle three Myrmidons which can, and will, destroy you easily.
It this task is to difficult for you, ignore the Liepzig completely and concentrate on your primary objective and try to take out the different Leo wings with the help of your wingmates instead.
After you destroyed the Bomber Squadrons, the GTD Albertine will jump in and force you to abort the mission. So jump out after you get the directive.
